Challenge Catch Up - Week of November 30th Challenge

Hello ladies!!! Since we just had Thanksgiving and the holiday season is upon us, I'm feeling like I need to get in the spirit of Christmas. So here's my way of spreading a little cheer: instead of posting a new challenge today, I want to give you the opportunity to have another week to upload your creations to the gallery for this month's challenges and thus MORE opportunities to win a fabulous Paper Posies prize! Look back through all of this month's challenges, pick the ones you haven't done yet, and do them this week!!!! That's right, I'm opening ALL the challenges back up until Sunday, December 6th at 11:59pm PST ! If we get more than a dozen entries, I'll pick TWO winners to receive a prize packet!!!!! :D

Upload your creations to the November 09 Challenge section in the gallery on the Paper Posies message board. If you're not signed up, do so via the website www.paperposies.com. Email me at info@paperposies.com and I'll get you approved for the message board as soon as I receive your email.

Creating with the November 09 kit

By now I'm guessing that most of you have received your November Paper Posies kit, right? Have you delved into it yet? We'd love to see your creations over on the PP message board and gallery. Hop on over and share what you've been creating this month with us. Also, there are weekly challenges presented and for every one you participate in, you have a chance to win a fabulous PP monthly prize!

I had plenty of scraps left over after creating four layouts with it and decided I needed to do another one! One of my favorite ways to use scraps is to layer strips of different patterned papers. Michele has a gift of picking out wonderful combinations of different manufacturer's patterned papers that all go together, so I like to celebrate that! I did pull some leftover alpha stickers from my stash for the title, but other than that, everything is from the November kit:
I also had some of the fun BG Woolies left over and wanted to use one on a card. I couldn't figure out what kind of greeting to use on this, so decided to just leave it as-is and then I'd be free to use it for any occasion! It's a simple card, but sometimes simple is the best option. :)

3-2-1 Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!

I'm bringing you all this week's challenge! The holidays are upon us. In fact, I hate to admit this but I was surprised to see turkeys in the grocery store last week until I stopped and thought about - duh. Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK! I guess it IS time to buy that turkey and prepare for the Christmas bonanza that follows, huh?!

So, in honor of the upcoming holidays, I'm doing a countdown layout challenge of sorts. A 3-2-1 challenge!

Here's what you need to do:

Use the following on your ONE layout:
THREE - different patterned papers
TWO - different alphabets
ONE - ribbon
(any other items are okay to use too as long as the above items are included)

Also, remember to use a Paper Posies kit. I used the November 09 kit for my sample, but any Paper Posies kit will do. :)

And one more thing - you have until Sunday, November 22nd to load your creation into the PP gallery and link us to it on the challenge thread.

Monday Challenge November 2nd - Alter it!

Oh Happy Day! It's time for another Monday Challenge! This week's challenge is all about altering something simple into something beautiful. Most craft and hobby stores have fantastic wood pieces for only $1! I got this little bird house for just that. Add a little paint, some patterned paper and bling and VOILA!


You've got an adorable altered project to display in your home or craft space.


Now you don't have to alter a bird house like I did, your project can be a picture frame, box, or one of your past Paper Posies alterable kit projects! Since kits are shipping soon you'll have til November 29th to load your project to the November gallery! Have fun! I can't wait to see your projects.
